ARON ABRAMS: U.S. television producer Aron Abrams has been found dead in a Hawaii hotel, police said. He was 50.

Abrams' small-screen credits include "3rd Rock From the Sun," "King of the Hill," "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Grounded for Life."

He had been staying at the Fairmont Orchid Hotel in Waikoloa with his wife, pediatric dentist Lynn Lempert, when he was found dead Saturday morning, E! News said.

There was no indication of foul play, police said.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday, E! reported.

QUEEN ELIZABETH II: Britain's Queen Elizabeth II has become a great-grandmother for the first time, her press representatives confirmed.

People.com said Thursday Peter Phillips' wife Autumn gave birth to a girl Wednesday.

The name of the child, who is 12th in line for the British throne, has not yet been announced.

Phillips is the son of Princess Anne, the daughter of the queen and the duke of Edinburgh, and first cousin to Princes William and Harry.

"Mrs. Peter Phillips was yesterday safely delivered of a baby girl at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital," the queen's press secretary said in a statement issued to People.com Thursday. "The weight of the baby was 8 pounds, 8 ounces. Mr. Peter Phillips was present at the birth."

JOHN MELLENCAMP: John Mellencamp's publicist says the U.S. recording star and Elaine, his wife of 18 years, have separated and plan to divorce.

The singer and model married in September 1992 and have two teenage sons together.

"John and Elaine Mellencamp are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family," the couple's representative said in a statement issued to The Hollywood Reporter Thursday. "They will continue to raise their two children in Indiana but have decided to call it a day as a couple."

REESE WITHERSPOON: U.S. actor Ryan Phillippe says he wishes nothing but the best for his ex-wife, actress Reese Witherspoon, and her new fiance, agent Jim Toth.

Phillippe and Witherspoon ended their seven-year marriage in 2008. They have two children together.

"I'm very happy for both Reese and Jim," Phillippe told the New York Daily News in a statement. "I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children."
